That's funny. I have a Gateway, and one of the main things they told me as they were selling me the extended warranty was how it would cover me in case my battery life didn't last.<BR/><BR/>I haven't tried to use the warranty yet, but I'm now wondering if I'll run into what you did.

Now that would be fun. I think someone did that with an Apple notebook not too long ago. I admit that I'm not <I>that</I> irritated, more annoyed than anything.<BR/><BR/>Plus, with my luck there's probably fine print somewhere ruling out laptop death by bulldozer.
